I have worked in service-related jobs most of my life. God continues to lead me down a path of serving others as a counselor. I have over 30 years' experience working as a sign-language interpreter with Deaf people and interacting with people who have various physical and mental disabilities. I have worked with people from different cultures, here and overseas, and feel I possess the ability to appreciate others' perspectives and to hear what is important to them.

I obtained my interpreting certificate along with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and Special Education from Western Oregon University (formerly Western Oregon State College). I earned my Master's of Counseling degree from George Fox University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington.

My passion is to help individuals see their intrinsic value. My goal is to guide people to be better able to live their lives in freedom rather than in bondage, to help restore broken relationships and to remove shame. Once freed from these shackles, individuals can move forward into healthy relationships and enjoy fulfilling lives.
